butter London stormed NYC Fashion Week
Butter London provided the high-quality manicure to models at New York Fashion Week for designers showcasing their Fall 2010 collections. It was started by British ex-pat Sasha Muir in a bid to create color without chemicals. All nail products are "3 Free", meaning No Formaldehyde, No Toluene, and No DBP (Phthales).
Nonie Creme, designer for butter London, created the custom color "Marrow" (a mixture of a bold grape and earthy wine color) for Vena Cava's collection - which we are so excited to be getting in at our store this fall! Vena Cava's collection is geared towards a confident, independent woman and it's all about the rock n roll nails with the catwalk coat of a little glitter.
At Betsey Johnson's show, Kelly Osborne and the other models were seen sporting the "Fash Pack" lacquer on their nails. The "Fash Pack" is a dusty beige color that complemented the look of the girls dancing down the hay-stack runway with a sexy and strong attitude.
Jen Kao's fall collection was the inspiration for the "Tea With The Queen" lacquer. This lacquer is a french pink, sheer peachy color which is just what all these expensive Manhattanites are looking for to go on their nails. What is great about this color is that it looks fantastic on both plain skin color as well as exotic skins. This is personally one of my favorite colors from the butter London line ;D
Also, The Tyra Banks Show - Beauty Across America! recently featured butter London colors "Come To Bed Red", "Tea With The Queen" and "London Underground" as well.
Check out this great line of butter London lacquers at Gladiola Girls!
